Pros

It's not a hard job. You're just cleaning. Nothing hard about that! It's also fantastic networking especially if you're "floating". You meet people and even see places that may peak your interests for potential future employment, because unless you dreamed of being a janitor, this isn't long term. But do your hours and it's a steady paycheck.

Cons

The management in the Colorado Springs office is just HORRIBLE!!! The "new" area manager is such a joke along with the new Human Resources manager. I don't know how else to put it without stooping to their level. The Area Manager is such a $#*@, he'll lay into you like you're a mentally disabled CHILD and when you try to explain or get some kind of word in, he CUTS you off by shoving his hand up to your face to shut you up, then rolls his eyes and gives you this "look" and says "not my problem"! I swear I couldn't make this up if I tried! It's horrible! Who does that!? LOL! Floating around, I hear it happens everywhere. And the HR......., PFFFFFFT!!! What to say other than clueless. .. Lawsuits waiting to happen. I recommend going to another janitorial company.

Pros

There was flexibility , with decent pay. Helped me get through college.

Cons

After they lost a contract with a major client - couldn’t fill scheduling quotas. The would often asking me to help last minute on things. Even before they lost a contract they would ask me to cut my college classes to help fill in. Once I told them not to call me in, cause I was medicated on pain killers from a dentist appointment. They messaged me DURING my appointment to ask if I could fill in for someone. There was also a time they requested I work during Christmas for an account that wasn’t even mine. But these last two instances were icing on the cake. Once there was a dangerous blizzard and my manager still wanted me to go drive to my account and clean it. Like you want me to risk my safety yo go clean a bank!? I refused of course and thank god I did, because a drunk driver literally crashed into the bank during that blizzard! Unfortunately I had to clean the mess and was not equipped with anything but a shovel to scoop up the debris… However it wasn’t until Covid happened. I unfortunately got it being an essential worker during the lock downs. I asked if u could still get compensation being sick. My manager said no and suggested I file for unemployment ! During my time being sick and quarantined!
