Pros

Fully Remote Great Individual Contributor Colleagues

Cons

This was the most disappointing job experience in my 20-year career. The product itself is distracted. They were also inconsistent in how they were reporting their user base with partners. Very dishonest. Their whole point system is weird, but purposefully weird. For example, Fetch will say 1,000 points is roughly equal to a dollar. But if you'd like to get $50 in actual cash back through a Visa gift card, you need 63,000 points. "Roughly" indeed. People in leadership positions are not who you want to work for. They lack empathy and value short-term wins over truly building long-term partnerships. My former direct boss was horrendous. She directed me to be dishonest with clients on setting realistic KPI expectations, which I refused to do. That refusal was the beginning of the end for me. Took me months to clear her mind games out of my psyche after I left. While remote work is nice, I received plenty of Slacks late at night or on weekends for matters that did not need to be tackled at those times. I'm not alone in this feeling either. I've spoken with numerous now-former Fetch employees to help them recalibrate after their own subpar experience working there.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. We can hear how much this experience affected you, and we take that seriously. The themes you've raised around leadership empathy, boundaries between work and personal time, and a culture that genuinely welcomes honest feedback are ones we think about constantly and hold ourselves accountable to. We don't want anyone leaving Fetch feeling the way you've described, and when that happens, it matters to us regardless of the circumstances. If you're open to it, we'd welcome a direct conversation. You can reach our People Experience team at px@fetchrewards.com. We mean that genuinely, not as a way to close the loop publicly, but because the specifics you've shared deserve more than a response box. - The People Experience Team

Pros

I've personally had an incredible experience working at Fetch. It's the first time I've truly felt supported by leadership and invested in as an employee. Fetch truly is what YOU make of it. I really like that Fetch encourages us to explore different tools, and makes them easily accessible. The tuition reimbursement program we have is amazing! I also really enjoy all the different ERG activations, this is the first time I see a company truly encourage people to be involved.

Cons

Things do move quickly here, and some days can be long... but it's also a scaling, tech start-up with a ton of momentum. That kind of comes with the territory. We are growing, and fast. I personally think it makes it the perfect time to join the company.

Pros

Good benefits, great pto policy, great rewards system, on paper the company looks great

Cons

-incompetent leadership (not all, but a good portion) -bait and switch style hire process -they don't have solid direction on where they are headed so it's a lot of top-down confusion -leaders have heads in the clouds but don't know how the tactical things happen, so there are two different realities amongst execs and the lower level employees doing the work -pay comparisons are questionable -microaggressions, bullying, and bias run rampant as it's not much diversity -absolutely no one knows who does what, so you will spend hours or days finding the right person just to get a task done OR question answered. Causing unnecessary delays and tension. -Because of the ai first nature, a lot of people are hired that don't have a clue what they are doing tactically. So conversations and next steps are written and fueled by ai. -Everyone talks like walking philosopher degrees with unnecessary filler and jargon to SOUND like they know what they are doing, but not enough tactical skill. Semantics are huge here. Because of this, ALOT of miscommunication and confusion happens. -They don't have the proper organization or management tools, just slack heavy... as you can imagine chaos breeds in this space. Everyone says "Welcome to Fetch" instead of just hiring the right leaders to bring structure asap. -The focus is too much on doing whatever to get the job done and hit revenue goals.
