Pros
Parties. The only thing the company does well is throw a great party. The CEO loves to entertain and spends more money on parties than employee development and growth.
Cons
Management is completely top driven....the CEO controls everything, including hiring at the lowest levels. There is no empowerment to any other leaders in the company and all of his senior leadership are either Yes Men / Women or they leave. Anybody who has been with Mike before and continues to stay is because they like catering to whatever Mike wants and can't stand up for anything they believe in. And, the rare times that they try, he dresses them down in meetings and belittles them in front of others to show he is in charge. This is evident with every aspect of the organization and creates challenges for any employee growth or empowerment. The CEO has to approve everything and will not let his management team make a decision without him - even the smallest things. It's widely known that all the CEO cares about is having fun - which in most cases is a great thing for any company - but not when it comes at the expense of marketing budgets, employee development, program launches and product development.
