Pros

They do pay the agreed base hourly income but is an hourly position not salary.

Cons

Twenty year old business model with less than poor management ... Flexible schedule is only for top achievers ... Christmas bonus $500.00 ... Management wants employees to function as informants on other employees ... If you ask questions you will be terminated ... I was a top producer for years, employee of the month, employee of the year and there is no loyalty only to management ... Tell the call center employees they are of value then lie, lie, lie ... No regard for business owners ... Business model is all about the business owner signing fees ... Don't do as I do, Do as I say do management ... Lousy training and onboarding ... Changes policy to suit their attitude toward employee ... Leads are a mismatch of dead, recycled, old leads ... If you provide the leads that are dead they just take them out for a short period of time and then recycle the bad lead even leads that have asked for no calls ... Multiple buckets of leads and bias toward employees determines which bucket of leads you receive leads from, not your performance ... If they do not like you, no matter how great your performance they will give you leads from less than workable buckets making your performance almost impossible. Management is unprofessional, no management skills, all middle managers have either never been on phones or failed at working in call center ... Dead end Position as SBA's ... Insert spirituality ... religious life commitment into meeting to influence and control SBA's.

Pros

It's pretty easy to get hired because they had a very high turnover in the SBA role. The initial training was good. The break room was very nice. The office was aesthetically okay for a cube farm. The pay was competitive, the bonuses came in the form of VISA or AMEX gift cards. Friendly coworkers. If you can hang out for a year or so, you can get another business development job anywhere in town. You'll be special.

Cons

Do not miss more than your one day off during the probation period. The drudgery was expectedly relentless in that role. Most people either quit within three months to a year, or you could be "quitted" involuntarily because of market fluctuations, or if you get on the wrong side of the floor management through no fault of your own, other than they simply do not like you. You'll be put in a situation where you get mostly voicemails or unqualified prospects that should have been vetted, and you'll be terminated for not making sales through your ever-present probation periods. Expect to be on probation throughout your stay. Co-workers in other departments and upper management could be very condescending to the bottom of the company food chain, the SBAs.
