Pros

GRIN does a great job of brining phenomenal people into the company, for the most part. Benefits are rather good. The culture was stellar, once upon a time, until it wasn't. Working from home is the best.

Cons

People in general are burned out. The CEO seems to have had his head in the sand for quite some time and was rather disengaged, until recently. A CRO was brought in last year whose tactics and approach do not align with GRIN's core value of authenticity. They say bring your whole self; speak your truth, but don't be a jerk. He comes off rather abrasive and rude, and single handedly had a negative impact on the culture vibe. Things now seem to operate from a more fear based place. A little finesse and decorum would be a nice touch. There is also a VP of a department who so many have struggled to work with for an extended period of time. Their lack of willingness to accept constructive criticism and be nothing but dismissive to those around them has also contributed to where the company is today.

Pros

None anymore. The entire company has done a 180 and isn't what it was; never could I have imagined someone somehow burning through $110M in such a disgraceful way.

Cons

See aforementioned burning of $110M investment in <3 years. They had everything going for them - great industry, cash in the bank, talent, clients, reputation, etc. and somehow still managed to spend themselves into a hole with loads of tech debt with one poor decision after another.
