Pros

There are some good people there who aren't in leadership positions The product is actually decent

Cons

CEO who fails again and again. This is the 3rd layoff in 18 months at the company and it was ~70% of the company. It's obvious he is checked out and desperately trying to get the company to a position where he can sell it. Leading up to and during the layoff he was vacationing in Hawaii and would join layoff all hands meetings claiming responsibility for the reduction in force. Hypocrite, narcissist, incompetent would all describe him. Leaders who only care about themselves and have a knee-jerk reaction to EVERY problem in the business. Rapid hire/rapid fire, rapidly try to move up market with no plan and then jump back to their "sweet spot" means they have no true growth. Very little meritocracy in the sales org as the new head of sales has been hand picking which deals, which accounts, and which inbound leads go to which reps over the last several months/quarters. Does everything he can to determine who succeeds and who fails. If you aren't in his tight circle of friends, he will ensure you crash and burn.

Pros

None anymore. The entire company has done a 180 and isn't what it was; never could I have imagined someone somehow burning through $110M in such a disgraceful way.

Cons

See aforementioned burning of $110M investment in <3 years. They had everything going for them - great industry, cash in the bank, talent, clients, reputation, etc. and somehow still managed to spend themselves into a hole with loads of tech debt with one poor decision after another.
