Pros
The gate swings both ways, so you can leave at will. Do leave.
Cons
Literally everything else. Parking, housing, pay, no profit sharing, extremely hazardous, raises, concern for employee and community, culture, regulatory compliance, and no skill sets that you can take away. They are at least thirty years behind the times in manufacturing or construction principles and technology, so don’t expect to add value to your resume. The other option is to stay there your whole career but expect your buying power to diminish year over year. That is if you survive the hazards, because safety is merely a mirage built in paper. Expect all the disadvantages of salary and hourly, without any of the advantages, even with a salaried position. The most basic business activities will stress you with bureaucracy, need for the highest levels of escalation, and never have any resources to complete.
