Pros

Working with renown brands like Good Housekeeping and Delish is always fun. So much freebies and events that make up for the low pay. Subsidized lunch at the Tower is also really convenient when you're on a budget.

Cons

You will never feel safe with all the constant layoffs. There is no room to grow. Managers will literally tell you that the only way to move up is to change brands/departments–how sad is that? Makes you feel worthless. Pay is a JOKE. Love the measly $500 bonus we received at the end of January after a year of hard work.

Pros

I love working at Hearst in the Baltimore, Maryland market. I have worked for many radio stations over the past nearly 40 years and this is one of the best companies as far as working environment. I really feel cared for here.

Cons

On a personal level, I've had a hard time getting full time employment within the company, which is discouraging. Also, it takes forever for management to make hiring decisions.
