Pros
Free food offered weekly. Halfway decent coffee selection available. Paychecks never bounced. A few nice, hardworking folks in each area. Standard health benefits.
Cons
Complete lack of competent management from mid to upper levels. No one seems to be in charge or seems to have the authority or desire to make a decision. Routine layoffs lead to fear-based management. The threat of being on the "layoff list" encourages groupthink and mediocrity; no one is willing to speak up or think outside of the box for fear of being thrown under the bus at a moment's notice. Constant inter-department and intra-department fighting leads to zero collaboration and innovation. Employees in the same department are literally at war with one another - I've never seen anything like it before and management just continues to pretend the problems don't exist. Nepotism is rampant and another huge detriment. Critical departments such as HR and Safety are so weak and ineffective they are huge liabilities to the company. Neither exist to protect employees, despite what they say, and they don't do a good job at protecting the company, either. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Worst decision of my life to come here. Truly just a negative, toxic, stressful, unsafe, hostile, unrewarding, unprofessional work environment.
