Pros

- Co-workers were good people

Cons

- Long hours. You'll work until dark and still have to call customers to apologize for not being able to make it. - Your schedule will change at the drop of the hat. You leave in the morning with a full day of work, and they just keep adding to it throughout the day. - They like to change up the routes at the drop of a hat. This wouldn't be such a big deal, except you're payed commission. You can (and will) suddenly start making 40% less literally overnight. - Not the best 401k/health plans All of the really positive reviews are left by people who have been with the company for several years. Those employees were around before HomeTeam was bought out by Rollins, and they got to keep the incredible commission rates they USED to have. If you start working there today, you'll make half the rate they do, with no possibility of an increase. It's just not the same company anymore.

Pros

The product (TAEXX) is awesome. You get leads from builders, model home reps, and website. Service is very good, Pricing is in the same ballpark as competitors. Good marketing resources. Car and gas card.

Cons

Micro-management is TERRIBLE!!! They track where you drive each day. If you drive outside of working hours or outside your territory, expect to be written up. You will have to put codes in for every call you make daily. The expectation is 100+/day. They track if your car GPS matches up with the codes you put in. If they don't, you may get written up. You won't have time to knock on doors even though that's the picture that is painted. You instead hand out flyers (100/day) and in the summer, you will be busy all afternoon and evening fielding calls. You have to sell $7,000/month BEFORE you get commission. The max you can make here is about $50K because you are not hitting the $7K threshold for half the year (when bugs are dormant).
