      Excellent work/life balance Good compensation and benefits 2 month paid sabbatical every 7 years Flexible work from home policy Incredibly smart colleagues Opportunities for international assignments Easy to switch roles/divisions Lots of great free classes for career development

      Bureaucracy - lots of red tape, too many meetings, army of middle managers Inefficient business processes, frequent reorganizations Some groups/divisions can be very political - difficult to get ahead just on merits/achievements No shuttle bus from SF unlike other tech companies in the South Bay

      Love the 12 hour shifts and compressed work week, great work life balance

      Cons

      Management can be hit or miss depending on the area you are in. Can also be hard to move up when Intel is constantly switching around your toolsets.
