Lost its Value System - Anonymous employee Interstate Batteries Employee Review

Senior Management is incompetent. President is only President because Daddy owns the business. He has totally done away with the system that makes it a great company to work for, and has replaced it with the $$ first way of doing things. Lots of great employees were let go simply to cut cost, when they were always told there would never be layoffs at Interstate (Guess Scott will Never be Norm). If you're "buddies" with the upper echelon, you are assured a job and promotions, but the average employee is just feeding the desire for more money by management.
