Pros
Irvine Company is a fantastic company to work for with great people, benefits, team work, and upward mobility. It's structure really promotes growth for individuals who enjoy operations, real estate, property & project management, and customer service. Every team that I have worked for in the past and currently work for strives to help me grow as a person as well as an employee, and supports/encourages you to apply for the next level position as soon as you're ready.
Cons
Not necessarily a "Con", though it could be for someone who does not adapt well or quickly. There is constant change and rotation in positions. In about 3.5 years I have been promoted twice which means I have worked at (now) 3 different properties managing 3 different sets of buildings and communicating with 3 different sets of customers. It is a con in the sense that you need to quickly adapt to a new setting, new people, and new budgets, but is more so a pro in the fact that I have been given the opportunity to grow in the positions I was in, promote quickly, and continue increasing my knowledge in similarities and differences across properties/portfolios.
