Pros

No longer really any, as all of the previous pros are gone.

Cons

-Poor work-life balance. A coworker of mine was injured and needed time to get major medical procedures done, he was forced to use all his PTO, and even then management was hounding him for results, despite him delivering all of his work on time. Actively antagonistic at this point. -Monitoring software is being installed on people's computers now, such as keyloggers that also actively interfere with work, randomly copy-pasting things and disrupting workers, as well as invading any modicum of privacy they had. -Management getting increasingly antagonistic towards remote workers. The president of the company believes that engineers are not a special case, and they have actively told us during company meetings that if you're NOT in office, there's almost no chance of you moving up in the company anymore. -They spent millions on new buildings to force people in the area to come back to office, while then terminating hundreds of contracts with contract workers. All the while, every update they talk about record profits. Many of these contract workers have worked with the company for years, and were treated as nothing more than dirt in the end. -Reorganization of teams making squads much smaller while expecting far more work than before. They reassured us that things weren't going to change that much, but see above. None of this would've happened a few years ago. -They used to pride themselves on open and honest communication, but now in the most recent 'update podcasts' from the VP of tech, they disabled the Q&A section and forced all questions to be vetted first. -A year or two ago I would've defended this company, saying they aren't as bad as many others today, but I can no longer say that, they are getting just as bad, if not worse than some of the most ghoulish companies in America. -Pay raises don't even match the rate of inflation, while also being some of the worst across the industry. Management will jump at the chance to underpay someone, and lied to another coworker about his pay being at the 'top end' of his pay bracket, which a group of us were able to confirm that he was actually BELOW the minimum threshold by almost $20k a year.

Family oriented workplace. Great benefits. Great work life balance.
