Pros

Firm provides a strong professional environment for people who value structure, accountability and want to deliver excellent client service. The work is engaging and you are trusted to manage complex client relationships with a high degree of autonomy. Leadership encourages thoughtful decision making, collaboration across teams and continuous process improvements. Firm is focused on leveraging new technology to improve daily tasks. I have found managers are approachable , open to discussion and willing to listen when improvements are raised. You will be exposed to a wide variety of industries and situations which accelerate learning and builds a well rounded experience.

Cons

Workload can be heavy mid- month to deliver timely financials , need to keep on top of work daily and plan for future events. Your success will depend on strong organization, follow-through and ability to manage competing priorities.

Pros

Working at Kreischer Miller has been a very positive experience, especially having completed three prior internships before joining full time as a staff accountant. The transition into a full-time role felt seamless due to the supportive environment and strong sense of community within the firm. The company offers excellent benefits and places a strong emphasis on employee engagement, with frequent office events, team lunchs, dinners, and other activities that make the workplace enjoyable and collaborative. The people at the firm are genuinely welcoming, approachable, and willing to help, which makes it easier to learn, grow, and feel comfortable asking questions early in your career.

Cons

At the end of the day it is a public accounting firm, which means the workload can be demanding but with that Kreischer Miller does everything to try to make it so that you can still have a work-life balance.
