Pros
- Willing to hire you without any experience so can be a good way to get your foot in the door for logistics. - You can meet some great people.
Cons
- Favoritism runs rampant in SeaRay. Almost everyone who gets promoted or given opportunities are close friends with or related to certain people. It doesn’t matter if you are good at your job or leadership material, it depends on who you are “close” with. - Supervisors and Team Leads are very cliquey. - “Team” mentality which results in good employees doing the majority of the work and getting burnt out. If are good at your job, they will work you into the ground while other employees do not carry their weight. - Toxic work environment!! - The rules only apply to some people. - Returned to the office full time despite employees actively saying they wanted to work remotely or hybrid schedules. During a town hall, the VP of SeaRay Operations listed some of the negative (and completely true) reviews left on a website. Instead of taking them into consideration, he told employees that if they didn’t like it, they can leave!! Oh and the vending machine snacks are terrible.
