- Managers often micromanage their employees and are very critical of all work being completed. Many managers are unwilling to give up responsibility to others trying to move up within the organization - Burnout - Management doesn't respect work/life balance working 60 hours+ weeks is not uncommon - Having to record every 15-minutes interval of work on weekly timesheets -Billability - If work does slow down and you don't have enough time to complete your 40-hour timesheet the unbillable time will be held against you during the weekly timesheet review and yearly reviews despite this being out of your control - The structure for internal career advancement is setup in a way that gives employees the bare minimum to stay in their role. Promotions and raises are not given on merit rather are given to individuals who upper management like the most
