Pros

Working for a recognizable brand with its roots in fintech is a nice way to break into finance or insurance if you are coming from a different sector.

Cons

PMs aren't just ticket jockeys, you are expected to do a lot by yourself without a devs at your beck and call which can create a "grindset" if you want to impress leadership.

Pros

LendingTree has a strong culture that is incredibly welcoming, since the start I have felt right at home. The company places an emphasis on autonomy, giving you the chance to explore ways to make a difference. You are encouraged to work however works best for you, with flexible hours and unlimited PTO, work-life balance is great.

Cons

The business itself is very complex and constantly evolving, and while that does keep things interesting you can feel lost. The segments of the business are all very unique making collaboration imperative, so at times competing priorities can cause delays and hold progress.

Pros

The people in the company are great. They care about one another and support one another.

Cons

There was no consistency from upper leadership. Priorities and strategies changed constantly. Upper management rarely listened to the people who actually do the work.
