Pros
Used to be great, Some good guys are still around who are very knowledgeable
Cons
It's a highly political mess! Bottlenecks in features and releases and they remain on the roadmap for years but they have sold such promises to customers. Management kept changing which meant that there isn't much focus and new guys being brought in doesn't know payments at all. Management is full of yes man trying to save themselves and not objecting to the unsound strategies of C-suite who doesn't know payments. They had an amazing tech and brand but unfortunately it's ruined by C-suite/SVPs hired from big tech. They recently laid off more than 20% employees, some of which are very tenured and knows the tech inside out but management downplayed it to 15%. Nothing is documented so they're left to claw their way back out. Layoffs were also done poorly and I lost respect for the leaders. Morale is currently very low and politics are at all time high as they're worried there will be a second layoff and employees are overcompensating by posting on linkedin about how fun it is to work here. It's also hard to be promoted, especially in this climate.
