Pros

Access to Senior leadership. But do you even want that here? Their cafeteria is actually pretty decent.

Cons

Where do I start... 1. No work life balance. Medline operates on the "servant model" - that is, it barely pays its employees but expects them to put in outrageous hours. 2. Escalation company - got a problem with someone? Great, take it to their manager. Or their Division President. Group President, even. While access to leadership is important, pettiness and wasting time are not. 3. 24-hour Email Policy - employees must reply to emails within 24 hours. Do you know how absurd that is? Do you know how inefficient that is? You literally can't get work done. 4. Sheisty - I found myself questioning the ethics of the company regularly. They lie to their customers and employees. Their ultimate goal is making a profit even at the expense of progress and employee sanity. Medline constantly boasts its year over year growth...yes, that's possible when you don't pay your employees and expect them to work 60+ hours a week and charge each Division to do their job. 5. Diversity - there is no diversity. It's filled with mostly mediocre people from the surrounding Illinois & Indiana suburbs. I have many more reasons. But just listen to me - don't work here. It's a slimy company.

Pros

Good health insurance, dental, and vision. Pay is appropriate.

Cons

Communication is virtually non-existent. Time off and sick policies are poor. Management has poor training. Constant turnover of staff. Poor upkeep of bathrooms. Mistakes that are made are not corrected in a timely manner, staff is not educated on mistakes, leading to frequent and repetitive mistakes.
