Pros
- Open and honest communication between leadership and employees - Interesting work - Collaborative environment - Amazing co-workers who are always happy to help out where possible - Work/life balance is great. Not expected to work overtime (standard 40 hrs/week), but if you do, you get paid 1x. Great incentive to prevent overwork and to reward employees who do have to work overtime due to deadlines / supporting test events.
Cons
Typical work churn due to the nature of working on government contracts. Sometimes you have more work than you can support, sometimes you don't have enough work to support everyone. Layoffs are treated as a last resort, but they do happen.
