Pros

You have the opportunity to interact with residents of the nursing home on a daily basis. You get to make their day.

Cons

No one is happy. Every department is short staffed. The CNA's are always being held over to work doubles. The owners of the company like to micromanage everything that happens. Department directors can't make any decisions without first getting the CEO to sign off on it. The building is owned by Monarch Healthcare Management, based out of Mankato, MN. Department directors are constantly having to put in overtime, while getting told to not work overtime, because there are unrealistic expectations. The administrator gets upset when these expectations are not completed on time. Every employee feels the same, from the managers all the way down to the everyday workers. This is not a place I would recommend to work.

Pros

Very great work environment with amazing bosses and coworkers that make working here feel nice and friendly!

Cons

With work being so busy, it can be hard to find time to interact with said coworkers.

Pros

With career considerations, there are no pros to this facility.

Cons

The management staff ruins companies like this. However, the upper-level management's only concern is quantity, not quality. Patients suffer the most. This is a high-risk environment for a licensed nurse.
