Pros
- met some good friends (but we were all trauma bonding so not sure if this is a pro) - social environment, some fun happy hours and events - will hire pretty much anyone out of college if you appear to be sociable and have decent communciation skills. They provide training to you so it's a great place to get your foot in the door. However you should plan to leave very shortly afterwards.
Cons
- Horrible place for your mental health and say goodbye to work life balance - you will be stressed all the time - All managers are heavy on micromanagement, they promote based on performance vs if the person is ready for management so this leads to a lot immature folks to become managers. They also don't provide much in the way of training to these young managers. - Stressful work environment, they will work you hard with cold calling and hitting your numbers and track how many calls you make - Some managers use intimidation tactics, manipulation, and overall have low ethics. I've seen managers steal accounts and leads from their reports. - Will fire the low performers behind closed doors so people always seem to disappear and creates a very fearful, uneasy environment - White Male dominant environment especially in leadership, not much in the way of compassion, empathy or understanding here
