In my opinion, leadership doesn't care about the employees at all. The only thing they care about is the stock price. Given any reason, they will without hesitation cancel 401k matches and annual cost of living raises while at the same time posting record revenue. Here is how my time at Motorola ended:
Month 1: After two years of excuses I was told that they had a guaranteed job rotation for me, so I stopped applying externally.
Month 2: I was diagnosed with cancer.
Month 3: Ten days after my surgery to remove the cancer I was told there was no more job rotation available for me and I was being laid off...
There are many many more problems at Motorola that I'm not going to name, but work here at your own risk, you have been warned.
