Very Poor Management - Doggy Day Care Attendant Mountain Ridge Animal Hospital Employee Review

The people made it great.

Stressful field overall, long hours

-Being able to see a variety of dogs and cats throughout my day, and giving cuddles to the surgery pets after anesthesia. -Kitten and puppy visits makes my world go round. -I love knowing that my work place is a home away from home, where we are all a small family working together. -Our new management is amazing, and very supportive of extending education. -Being able to bring your pets to work is a bonus, and knowing they're in daycare having a good time. -The technicians I work with are amazing, and genuinely care for the animals they look after. -The doctors here are all very caring, and are willing to answer any questions you have regarding your pet. -Daycare attendants are great, and love being with the dogs! -It's easy to see that every one is in this industry because they genuinely care for the well being of animals, and it's easy to feel like you belong. -Management is easy to talk to, and you don't feel like you're backed into a corner when something needs to be addressed. -After leaving retail to come to this hospital, I have never been happier with my life choice.

Sometimes 12 hour shifts can be strenuous. Sometimes clients can be hard to deal with. Hard to see the clients you build a relationship with, lose a pet.
