Pros

Coworkers are great and very helpful. Pay is good. Quiet atmosphere. Clean bathrooms and lunchroom. Hour lunch.

Cons

The management is rude and unprofessional . The training is horrible. The person that trains treat you like you're an idiot and when you go to upper management , they treat you the same way. They want you to observe for a whole week and on the second week give you bits and pieces without telling you how it works from start to finish . On Mondy of the third week they expect you to be able to do the job with a deadline to meet and no errors. They rush you and ask you what's taking you so long . They watch every move you make and nit pick everything . If you ask them a question they roll their eyes and give you an attitude to the point where every time I needed to ask a question I would get a knot in my stomach. They will gossip in the office about you and talk about how stupid you are if you don't pick up in a few days They are very mean and impatient with new employees. People in the office will say the same thing. No one is happy there. I could not wait for them to let me go . My advices if you can't pick up in less than a week do not take a job in this department at this company. The worst and most unprofessional company I have ever worked for in all my years of working!

Pros

Organization is very flat in comparison to other companies

Cons

The "we're a family" culture is always talked of, but in reality it is reserved for those who have been around the longest. Due to high tenure, it was truly unbelievable the sheer level of immaturity leadership has displayed regarding personal/health information, sharing political opinions which has no place at work, golf preferences, layoffs, etc. It is a boys club through and through where boundaries are regularly crossed. Management tends to be very vocal about when they let people go, but noticeably quiet when people leave due to longstanding cultural issues that have gone unaddressed or unacknowledged for a long time. I have witnessed management using the most insensitive and unprofessional language when talking about who got let go or left on their terms. If you are considering the sales team specifically, it leans heavily on traditional old school business practices with limited appetite for change with both marketing and internally. Systems are barely understood to make your work more efficient and newer reps tend to exit within two to three years. Those who have stayed long you truly can't trust with feedback or personal struggles. The role is harped as financially rewarding but often at a significant cost to work life balance and personal wellbeing which is very apparent. If you don't show management you eat breathe and sleep work, good luck. Leaders are highly unreceptive to having their methods questioned, and most have spent their entire careers here which limits outside perspective. Many companies are ahead in terms of flexibility, benefits, internal tools, analytics, and overall culture. Newer employees whom I knew, by large, do not find this to be an enjoyable place to work and left or are debating on it when a new opportunity arrives.
