Pros

There are none to add.

Cons

Leaving NeweggBusiness was one of the best things I’ve ever done for my health. For starters, I was constantly stressed because of their lack of organization and clarity. They did have many “trainings”, however they were all so unclear or contradictory that I couldn’t retain much information. I also did not feel supported or encouraged by anyone at all, although I did feel that one of my Sales Managers did try. I think he was unsuccessful at it because he wasn’t getting the support that he needed for himself, either. I felt that nobody acknowledged me as a person either because we did not share similar interests, or because I was not interested in participating in their office gossip. Because I was practically invisible to everyone, I witnessed a lot of people “talk behind one-another’s backs” and continue to maintain a facade of friendship with one another. This happened at all levels in that office, which was one of the many reasons why I didn’t feel that I could trust anyone that I worked with. Even the company events felt like a poor attempt to disguise how awful it was to work there. This job was pretty awful overall. The stress of working in a toxic environment weighed down on me nearly every day. I almost never felt happy nor respected, and I felt that I didn’t belong.

Pros

Great learning opportunities with exposure to multiple aspects of the business. Fast-paced environment that encourages continuous growth and adaptability. Clear team structure and well-defined responsibilities, allowing employees to stay focused and execute efficiently. Plenty of opportunities to take ownership of projects and make a meaningful impact. Collaborative teams and strong cross-functional communication.

Cons

As a global company with a diverse workforce, communication styles can vary across teams. In some situations, discussions may take place in languages other than English, which can occasionally create challenges for employees who are not fluent in those languages.
