It can be difficult to tell whether negative reviews fully reflect reality until you experience it firsthand. In my case, my experience within my department was extremely challenging. While there are great individuals, there are also behaviors and leadership issues that can make the environment feel uncomfortable and, at times, unprofessional. There was a noticeable lack of transparency and a tendency toward cliquish behavior, which made it hard to feel like part of a cohesive team. Trust in leadership was also an issue. I often felt the need to document interactions with my manager due to inconsistency and concerns about accountability, which created a stressful and uneasy work environment. Additionally, hearing managers speak negatively about executives was discouraging and undermined confidence in leadership overall. Professionalism and alignment across leadership levels felt lacking.
