* Remote-first workplace. * Outstanding coworkers. Everybody on my team did exceptional work even when we were all overstretched and burnt out.

* Cuts, cuts, cuts. Budgets are being slashed across the board and every team in the company but Sales was running lean the entire time I was at the company. * Slow, rolling layoffs in the U.S. and U.K. I was at Norstella for 3 years and employees being let go for budget reasons was more common than them leaving because they found a new job. * If Sales wants it, it happens. Even when it is a bad idea. Over promise and under deliver should be the motto of that team. * Leadership is geared towards selling the company instead of supporting customers or building good products. * No communication across business units - everyone stays in their lanes. * Limited opportunities for internal advancement. * Below market salaries. * I have never been asked to do more with less like I was at Norstella.
