Pros

The coffee was drinkable, snacks

Cons

Where do I start. I guess in the interview, they'll tell you about the culture and atmosphere, but they'll leave out the rampant sexism and ageism and overall discrimination. In the support center sits the CEO as well as a bunch of family tied "managers.'' Some positions are "male" positions some are "female" positions. This is openly talked about! Be prepared to stay in the position you're hired for, they say they promote from within, but that's only if you're the right age (they only hire people under the age of 37, again this is OPENLY discussed.) I was told how great I was at my job so much so that I applied for multiple open positions within the company only to met with nothing. For a company who's culture tenant was "communication" I was met with smoke being blown in many directions only to watch them hire people off the street who lasted 3 days, and 1 day respectively. I wasn't even told edge wise why I wasn't being considered, even though I was told how much of a future I had, as you can probably tell, the term mixed signals fits very well here. The SS or "human resources" department, will spy on your every move. They will read your messages, read you IM's to co-workers and call you out for everything, but they cant be bothered to explain to you why you can't be promoted. They have no written way of how to go about things within the company and these guys have no idea what they're doing. I liken the atmosphere here to high school. Its very cliquey and if you're not friends with the right people, you're out. Why hire folks that you don't like in the interview, only to fire them a month, two months, a day, later? Seems like a waste of time. If you're friends with the right people you have some perks: you can sleep at your desk. ALL THE TIME. You can show up whenever you want, you can leave whenever you want. You can do drugs whenever you want. You can call out at-least once a week because your boss will cover for you by giving your orders to other members of the team. I have never seen anything like this. I don't like wasting my time and writing this, but you HAVE to know what you're walking in to at that "support" center.

Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts about Premier. Although we are proud to offer great entry level career opportunities that are most attractive to younger workers, we certainly do not discriminate in any way. We have male, female and teammates over the age of 37 across all departments at Premier. We value diversity and our team so much that we post bios and photos of everyone right on our website. We also value the growth and development of our teammates and strive to promote from within when positions open. It is, however, an unreasonable expectation that you be promoted or moved to a different department within your first 90 days. Our HR department would never "spy" on our teammates. They do take over the company provided emails of any teammate who leaves the organization to ensure no important work communication is missed after their departure. Sometimes we discover inappropriate emails that someone might not have hoped would be discovered by their employer. Lastly, we are shocked to read that you felt we condone doing drugs. Of course that is not the case. Nor is it the case that teammates can come and go as they please. Attendance and PTO matters are not something that is typically made public.
