Our Field Representatives are 1099 sales contractors as is presented from the initial interview. This is the industry norm due to the outside sales nature of the role. Additionally, our top performers in each season’s sales class do in fact earn six figures. In 2019, our top salesperson in your branch, who had never sold roofs before, secured $144,000 from six months of work. Using surveys of our sales contractors, we know that our average salesperson sells a roof every 4.5 hours of prospecting. When you account for all work that goes into each deal, our sales reps typically earn the equivalent of between $90 and $130 an hour.
We do not mandate, track hours or require attendance to meetings, we focus on performance and provide suggestions to help guide team members to achieve their desired level of success. I am sure that Premier Team members reached out to you in an attempt to help improve your performance by wanting to meet with you and help sell with you in the field as we are a teammate focused organization. Regarding our outlook, we have averaged a growth rate of 30% a year and are continuing to expand geographically with new offices and by obtaining more market share in our existing markets. What makes this even more special is that this growth is driven by the advancement of our teammates into leadership roles that allow us to grow our sales force organically.
