Pros
When I first joined, the experience was genuinely positive. My manager was incredibly welcoming and supportive, making the onboarding process smooth and encouraging. The team was collaborative, engaged, and open to new ideas, creating a sense of real camaraderie. There was a lot of excitement about the work ahead, and leadership made several promising commitments about growth, development opportunities, and long-term vision. It felt like a place where I could truly thrive—at least initially.
Cons
Unfortunately, the initial positivity didn’t last. Many of the promises made by management were never fulfilled, and rather than taking accountability, leadership began to shift blame onto the team when unrealistic goals weren’t met. There was a stark disconnect between what was said and what was practiced—management claimed to support the team's success, yet routinely shut down communication, dismissed input, and even reprimanded individuals for trying to collaborate. Favoritism was rampant, and professionalism quickly gave way to toxic behavior. What started as a promising environment became demoralizing and unpredictable. Communication with management became increasingly difficult. attempts to collaborate or ask for support were often met with criticism instead of guidance. It's a high-stress environment where long-term growth and trust are hard to come by.
