- Opportunity to work with folks who align with the outdoors and protecting it
- Get involved in local community
- Ability to learn about tech
- Foster a culture of belonging
Cons
- Communication and Planning at times but normal growing pains with any new business structure!
The mission statement that I was told is cool. That's why I accepted their offer to work there. Many cool items sold there are nice. I liked my co-workers.
Cons
This company is horrible. People at the top are liars, cheats, villains. Public Lands boasts that they're trying to stand up for our public lands but the amount of good, usable and recycle-able stuff they forced us to through out into dumpsters defies that.
It's all a game to these people. Nothing is genuine. It's about getting people to believe the mirage and then seeing what people will spend. People have become wise and this place is going away fast.
