Pros
- Welcoming culture of being Smart, Kind, and Driven. They put heavy effort on protecting this and ensure that everyone working here focuses on developing these attributes. It is the primary reason I stay, because this culture promotes a positive and safe work environment even during hard times.
- At least here in the R&D department, we focus on serving each other, and seeking opportunities to work as a team to accomplish our tasks. We are more effective, efficient, and balance out each other's weaknesses by working collaboratively. I could not ask for a better team.
Cons
I feel reasonably compensated, but it could be better. I have found it can be quite a stretch to live on and raise a family in the local area as a single source income. The benefits and bonuses in this company can also be weaker than other companies. (Health care, dental and vision benefits are not as good as other companies I have seen). However, I expect this to change as the company grows, and as I continue my career, and the benefit of good culture and a great team outweigh the cons.
