Pros
I have been with the company for several years, and the benefits and PTO (for now) have been the biggest draw. Starting pay is higher than most and for the most part, the employees are all accommodating across department lines. The team I work with is like a small family and is super supportive of work and personal achievements.
Cons
PTO for those of us who have been looking forward to increases is now going in the opposite direction. They state that they want transparency but most of us are still in the dark about many changes and policy changes. We have traded one "good old boys" club for another as it seems that the only promotions out of support now are for those who are favored by management. There is no room for growth at this point. Others and myself were promoted only for the company to dissolve groups and we were shuffled back to general support. In 4 years, there have been at least 3 major layoffs.
