Pros

Client satisfaction is key, so the work is generally rewarding. The work is demanding due to its nature, meeting both government and client demands, so maintaining a work-life balance is a core tenet of Ryan. Employee satisfaction is highly valued and pursued by management. Compensation is fair and employee benefits are excellent. The CEO, Brint, is very transparent and regularly invites any and all employees to suggest improvements and solve internal problems. My direct managers make me feel like a valued employee.

Cons

Teams can be siloed and possessive, so communication and accountability can be issues. Sales/BD can be cutthroat.

Pros

Culture is great amongst principle and executive team members. The work is not difficult if you have prior experience in property tax. Benefits are good. Great promotion track if you are willing to play the politics.

Cons

Political environment. Senior Consultants do not mind throwing newer people under the bus for their mistakes. Boundaries are not respected. You are expected to know everything with no real formal training, they do provide some training for the first few weeks but then it drops off and everything needs to be self taught. Management has favorites and you will know instantly.
