      Pros

      Great pay. I average $1,200 - $1,600 gross per 5 day week. My local management is awesome. The hours aren't bad. You have the freedom to move around to a different shift if there is a spot open.

      Cons

      Support shift can sometimes take 30 minutes to answer on nights and weekends. Some local drivers slip-seat. New trucks are terrible in wet conditions.

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
