Pros

Good hourly rate (there's a reason of course). Great rehab team but this has nothing to do with Select. Will definitely get all your steps in from walking around all day. Productivity actually good for me as an evaluating therapist - 85%.

Cons

No holidays - not even paid for working holidays. It's just another day unless you're a higher up of course. You accrue PTO but good luck using it. No sick time. If you want to take a day off they always want you to work the Sunday before or Saturday after so basically you don't get to use your hard earned time off. Shortage of computers which affects documentation being done in a timely manner (worse for assistants). Prepare to be "screen" Med Bs and of course they're fine as long as someone picks them up for therapy. Pretty sure I saw the same guy in therapy the whole year I was there. Diathermy is gold for the assistants. What else do you expect to do with a bedbound patient for 60 mins? The bottom line for Select is the almighty dollar. They make it known that you're easily replaceable. Personally, I would get sick on Sunday nights thinking of working the next day. Also, not to mention the holidays that I missed out on. To say I hated this job would be an understatement. To the person who is thinking of working for a building under Select, think long & hard. Also, don't be surprised when they're cited for fraud.
