I have been working at Spring Valley Hospice for 3+ years and have loved every Second! The Staff members all have a heart for patients and are easy to work with. The job is also flexible and understanding to personal needs. Great place to work!

Though this is the case for most Social Work jobs, You never know what your day will hold. You spend alot of your day putting out fires.

Working for Spring Valley has been the best decision i've ever made, for myself, my family, my work-life balance, etc. This job is flexible and helps me be there for my child and family when needed. Working for this company has given me pride in what I do, an appreciation for life in all stages, and a sense of accomplishment. Management is always a phone call away and always there to help. The workplace culture at Spring Valley is more like family than work. The hardest part of my job is losing the patients after you grow close to them for so long, but knowing that you helped them live out the last days of their lives how they wanted, makes all the difference. The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting new patients and seeing them happy that someone is there to help them. They light up when they know we will meet them wherever they are at in their disease process.

Charting from home, working some weekends on charting and various scheduling things.
