Pros
Strong mission, good institutional reputation, and attractive benefits package.
Cons
The hiring process felt inconsistent with the flexibility and compensation expectations communicated earlier in recruiter screening. While flexibility and work arrangement options were emphasized throughout the process, there appeared to be very limited actual flexibility once the formal offer stage began.
Compensation and advancement also are heavily constrained by rigid internal structures and comparisons between existing employees, which means the growth opportunities depend more on internal hierarchy and tenure than on individual performance, experience, or market value.
