Pros
The ONLY pro is a handful (take that back) maybe 2-3 people there that are great. Literally that’s the ONLY pro.
Cons
Where do I begin? You won’t make enough money to pay your rent and your car payment let alone groceries and gas. Their famous line is “you must not want it bad enough” if you are not hitting your quota. I can assure you I wanted to be able to pay my rent, car payment and other obligations, but unless you are one of their “favorites” and deals are fed to you, plan on living in your car like I LITERALLY had to do for almost TWO months. Yep, talk about feeling like a total loser. I’m not someone straight out of college. I am a seasoned sales veteran so I know what I’m doing in the world of sales. I was sold a bill of goods that even though the base is a sucky $40,000 (on the high end) the commissions would more than make up for the low base. Guess what? NOT EVEN CLOSE. They’ll continue to tell you how it’s only going to get better and to hang in there. IT NEVER DID. In fact, it only got worse. This review is 100% accurate and true. The turnover is unbelievable and they could care less. They get you to drink the Kool-Aid and make you believe it’s so fun and such a great place to work. You’ll learn nothing except that you’re wasting your valuable time making zero money for you and a ton of money for Tom Graunke who has A LOT of nothing to say ALL of the time. Oh I can’t forget to mention the managers. If you do ANYTHING that they don’t like, be prepared to get the silent treatment until they are done pouting. No joke...it happens ALL of the time. Word of advice if you are looking into working at StormWind save yourself the misery because there are a lot of other truly great jobs out there that will pay you a better base salary and have a commission structure where you’ll make enough you won’t have to live in your car. P.S. I can guarantee all of the “oh it’s so incredible working at StormWind” reviews are all written by either the CEO or the managers that are not smart enough to think for themselves. Also, I’d say 99% of the pictures posted are so old none of those employees work there anymore with the exception of 3-4 at best.
