Pros
They pay pretty well, and some of their benefits offerings are quite nice. They're also very well located if you take public transit. The offices are nice and clean, and the kitchen is kept stocked with coffee, teas, and snacks/fresh fruit. They also offer yearly parties.
Cons
There's a culture of paranoia and personal distance built into this place, which churns through new employees on a constant basis. They ended remote work of any kind (except for Certain People) in January of 2025 and the entire office is still furious they refuse to address any complaints and would prefer to "move past it."
The office is nice and clean, but it's highly exposed (your backs are to the walkways between sets of desks) and feels surveilled at all times. Nobody wants to put themselves on the chopping block by expressing an opinion, and it seemed like nobody wanted to get to know you in case you disappeared.
In addition, the departments rarely talk with one another. You may end up doing duplicative work if you're in a role that requires teaming up with people from different units.
