Pros
A few skilled and ethical colleagues remain. The new CEO appears determined to turn the company around and is the only real hope for progress.
Cons
Unisys’s marketing environment is highly toxic, riddled with racism and sexism. The CMO fosters a culture of fear, targeting and abusing anyone she feels threatened by. Multiple serious complaints about the abusive behavior of the CMO and two of her VPs have gone unaddressed. VPs routinely play favorites, fail to support their teams, undermine others by smearing reputations, and drive out truly excellent leaders. Toxic leaders and colleagues are rewarded, while those with skill, ethics, and integrity are sidelined or pushed out. Unethical behavior runs rampant—growth is nearly impossible due to cronyism and entitled, incompetent leaders. Team members who aren’t “in the club” are ignored or scapegoated whenever the CMO needs to deflect responsibility. You will not be valued, paid your worth, or recognized for your contributions. The company’s financial health is bleak: it recently agreed to pay a $4 million civil penalty after misleading investors about the severity of a major SolarWinds-related cybersecurity breach, downplaying two intrusions involving exfiltration of gigabytes of data (SEC investigation).
