Pros

- Cool factor - Occasional events - Hearing music first - Resume booster

Cons

- Abuse of lower level employees, especially EAs - No work life balance - Low pay - Extremely dated technology and processes - Incompetent HR I was in a new role and no one had defined the duties of the position prior to me starting. I was never allowed to say no to requests and I quickly became the scapegoat of my team. My boss took credit for my work and frequently threw me under the bus to make himself look better which paved the way for my teammates to do the same. The way employees communicate at his company is horrific. I had PTSD and recurring nightmares from my time working here. I'm writing this review long after I've left but I've debated posting it because I still have a deep rooted fear of retribution. During my employment Lucian Grange hosted a town hall where someone asked what he and UMG were doing to break the glass ceiling. He stumbled over the question and had no answer. While I know some who have had better managers and better experiences at UMG I would never recommend it to anyone.
