Pros

VU is the kind of company we all dream of working for. They care about their employees and go to great lengths to make sure that we have a work-life balance. They are constantly innovating tools to help us succeed in our roles, they provide great benefits to care for us in and out of the office. They stand behind the motto: "take care of your people, and your people will take care of your business."

Cons

Sometimes the pressure to excel can be daunting, but as long as you're putting in your best effort, they will work with you to help you grow and succeed.

You nailed it - we have a set of values we'll always stand by: Be passionate, deliver results, and enhance lives! Everything we do and hope to be is rooted in those values and it's so cool to see that echoed back to us in a Glassdoor review. It takes everyone doing their best and showing love and care to make a company a great place to work, thanks for doing your part!

Pros

-Coworkers will become friends and will grow to be family. - Support and encouragement for growth are the social norm here.

Cons

I don't have any cons. If you don't like where you are, you can move. If you are lost, you will find direction and support all around you. If you have a problem there are people all around you that want to help.

Pros

They force feed you company culture. You get "free food" (Hope you like chick fil let)

Cons

There isnt enough space for the amount of cons there are if youre in a production role within this company. All boils down to the systems they use to micromanage their production that is rarely accurate and it directly effects your pay and your numbers. Too high expectations for numbers even with government shut downs. If you plan on using any of the PTO youre entitled to they still expect you to pull the unrealistic expectations they've set for quotas. They've changed the compensation structure to purposely pay less to their employees in those roles. Many production employees work unpaid overtime 10/15 hrs a week just to meet the quotas that reset at the beginning of each month. Final words is genuinely would never recommend for anyone to work for VU unless they change the circumstances for which you are compensated. "We're all a family" until you need to take off for a funeral/family emergency/any of your PTO then you are a number.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand how challenging it can be when workload expectations, compensation, and career progression don’t align with what you were expecting, especially in a production-driven role where performance and pay are closely connected. Working unpaid hours should never be an expectation, and time away, whether planned or unexpected, should be approached with care and respect. Clear expectations and meaningful support matter. We appreciate you being open about your perspective and wish you the very best moving forward.
