      The children and the moments with them that you realize you have made a difference in their life or even just in their day.

      Cons

      Tooooooo many to list. Zero training zero positive comments or encouragement zero chance for advancement made to stand in 90 degree weather and then only spoken to by administration when you do something WRONG because no one ever taught you how to do it.

      Coworkers are fantastic Direct leadership is great Love working with kids Summers, holidays and weekends off

      Pay is below other OT jobs in the area Pay is dependent on state budget and not performance Health Insurance has gotten more expensive and covers less than 10 years ago Meetings can be long and go outside of your regular work hours
