Pros
Great prestigious brand Fun working on lot Great products Decent pay
Cons
Unprofessional, frat-like work environment Lip service to innovation and culture, but most managers seem to just look out for themselves Only people who fit a narrow, old-school, straight, white, combative, hard-driving mold seem to be promoted in most groups People seem constantly willing to throw others (including their own employees) under the bus at a moment's notice so they can look good in front of management Promotions seem more based on personal favoritism than actual management skills or results Fear-based, cult-like, mafia-like culture that no one really likes, except for the few in power (and even they seem miserable and constantly looking over their shoulder) Plenty of subtle and not-so-subtle hazing, harassment, and bullying, but no one speaks up b/c they know they won't be supported by leadership. The unspoken motto is "don't rock the boat" and everyone is totally driven by fear rather than creativity. Lots of big-brothery micromanaging by the new AT&T overlords and HR. It throws any trust or innovation down the toilet. Pay freezes, bonus cuts, and no real work from home support unless you're a parent (and even then it sucks) Sick days are actively discouraged
