Like others said, Xoom is not a decent company for engineers - Software Engineer Xoom Employee Review

- engineers are treated like second-class citizens - lower than average pay - incompetent mid-level management - work environment is uncomfortable. It's like sitting in a closed box, no windows, low ceilings, old furniture, etc. If anyone has ever worked for a typical tech company in silicon valley, I bet you won't like the work environment at Xoom.
