Pros

Some nice people, and a casual environment.

Cons

PLEASE do not work for this company and do not do business with this company. Avoid them at all costs, unless the following doesn’t bother you in looking for a place to work. Everlight Solar does not follow very respectable business practices and is not as great as they make it seem. Their door to door sales team consists of mainly high school kids who don’t know anything about solar. They aren’t educated properly on what they’re selling - just taught daily to be persuasive, aggressive, and not take no for an answer. They ignore no soliciting signs and are told to not directly answer specific questions homeowners might have. Their installation teams have not had consistent work (hardly any work at all) since the solar tax credit ended in 2025. They just laid off nearly half of their entire company (April 2026). From what I know, I believe they overcharge compared to other companies and don’t let customers know about the full costs up front. They don’t pay their sales team what they advertise. The turnover in sales roles are very high, and the company turnover itself is notably high as well. They also loved to highlight that they do 600+ interviews a week, and make it seem like they are very busy and don’t have lots of time to speak with you. Basically, you should feel very honored we’re interviewing you at all, and this is a “highly coveted role and company”. They are told to end the interviews quickly if they feel that your “vibe is off”, and if they don’t think you’ll fit the “Everlight culture”. Take a look at Everlight on Reddit, Glassdoor or low Google reviews - those are the real ones you should be taking note of. They’re corrupting young graduates from high school and college who don’t know better. They wanted me to sign a contract when I left, (basically offering hush money) saying I wouldn’t talk bad about the company. It was a long contract, and they didn’t allow me to review it or bring it to a lawyer before signing it. I asked for time to read it over, and they said no. I declined to sign it.
