      Great career start but be prepared to sacrifice

      Pros

      FDM is great for people wanting to launch their tech career without much directly relevant work experience. Being placed gives you the opportunity to shadow colleagues who are very experienced in their field of work.

      Cons

      On the grad programme you have minimal say on where you are placed, I was made an offer to join one stream before entering FDM and ended up on a different stream entirely. Can be intense interviewing for placements alongside training and the exams while at the academy.

      Does what it says on the tin

      Pros

      The training isn't exactly comprehensive, but it gives you a platform to build on. The interview and CV training is very helpful. I had to move a considerable distance for the job I got offered, but they don't hide that possibility from you. Ultimately it got me started on my career path

      Cons

      The sales team are almost self parodies of what you imagine a sales team to be. Some interactions felt like they were ripped from the office
